Coming from Villach, take the A10 ‘Tauern Autobahn’ to the St Michael toll station (exit 104), from there drive via Mauterndorf to Obertauern.
Coming from Judenburg, take the ‘Murtal Bundesstraße’ via Murau, Tamsweg, Mauterndorf to Obertauern.
From the East
Arriving from Vienna, take the A2 Süd Autobahn, the S6 ‘Semmering Schnellstraße’ and the A9 ‘Phyrn Autobahn’. From Lienzen take the B320 ‘Ennstal-Straße’ to Radstadt and from there to Obertauern.
By Train
From Radstadt train station there is a direct bus connection to Obertauern.
